Good Housekeeping Magazine's Heroes of Health Award 2004, award to honor and commend Aubrie Maze in December, for their workbook "Cutting Up" that she wrote for teens with cancer. From the Children's Cancer Support Committee. ~ Relay for Life: Most Inspirational Youth 2001, award to Aubrie Maze in August. From the American Cancer Society. (Aubrie is now a college student.) ~ Relay for Life: Most Inspirational Youth 2000, award to Rachael Shiery in August. From the American Cancer Society. (Rachael died in July 2001 at age 6 from a brain tumor.) ~ Millenium Dreamers 2000, award to co-founder Michelle Bertrand. Sponsored by McDonald's and Disney honoring children from around the world who have made a difference in their communities. Included a trip to meet other winners at Disneyworld. ~ Salute to Education 1998, award to co-founder Steve Webster Sonoma Valley award to honor those contributing to education or to the quality of life for children.
